Client Family Room Progress

One of my favorite to-date remodels and clients wanted a full overhaul of the color palette, style, and vibe of her family room.  She already had plans to tear down walls and move her kitchen into a new addition.  I wanted to design a space that would feel more relaxed and calming than before.

We are still waiting for some furniture to be delivered in the next week or two and need to finish styling with the final accessories, but I wanted to show off a few snapshots of the current progress.  I tried to take pictures without the Christmas decor, so you will have to wait for pictures of the entire room!

Main family room area

Grand Central Station for All Things Media

Sitting area with newly reupholstered chair

Love the mixing and matching of prints

New built in kitchen eating area

And just to give you an idea of how much we changed the style and feel of their living space, here are a few before pictures:

What do you think so far?  How long do you typically wait before overhauling your style or is it constantly evolving like mine?

  1. Whoa! Who wouldn't rather be in the updated space? So cheerful and inviting. Great job Jessica.
