Oh, how I love antiques!

A while back my college friend, JoAnna of Cline Rose, posted about a hidden treasure in Leesburg, VA called The Old Lucketts Store.  She has actually posted of her great findings several times, so I was super excited when we drove up to visit friends in the area!  Even though Lisa was pregnant and on bed rest, she was dying to get out of the house and we decided to make a quick trip while my two were napping!

So, while this post may be well overdue, it's never too late to make a trip to see for yourself!

The amazing front porch full of gems!

I absolutely LOVE these oversized industrial pendants.  If only I had a giant island...

I'm beginning to realize I had my eye on lighting!  Go figure...

I almost purchased this chair for our bedroom (it was from an Air Force base and my brother is a C-17 pilot!); however, I decided to keep looking for the perfect choice.

These Edison pendants are all the rage...

As well as the mercury glass pendants that were 35 a pop (I believe)!

I can't wait for my next trip to visit our friends, and of course pop in Luckett's again!

  1. I am dying to go to an antique shop!!! I finally live in an area that has them, and there's actually a little one like a mile from me. But (as you're well aware of!) it's so hard to be motivated to go to a shop like that with two babies...double strollers aren't made for places like that! I think I'll need to brave it one of these days though because pictures like these make me want to see what kind of treasures I could find!

  2. I totally know what you mean about the double stroller! Doesn't fit in most boutiques around here either! It's those little moments I run out by myself and dash around like a mad woman where I get the most done!
